Obviously there's a ton of these, so collecting them all will be hard, but I'm up to the challenge. If possible, I'd like to focus on Zelda 1 and 2 for now, since OoT has 60+ items and that would just be insane to collect, but if you have any, that would be very appreciated. Put them at whatever price seems fair, I'll pay...

Not sure if I mentioned it or not, but soon enough there will be an NPC that will take in full item sets if you got them. The NPC will in fact remove them from your inventory, but give you a special achievement that will appear in profile that is worth waaaaay above any other statistic currently implemented. I'm thinking about the value of 25 badges - but can change/evolve. You will also get a pile of gold consistent with how many items there was in the set.

This will give a purpose to item collecting. I'm just not sure about the items being removed from your inventory. I don't know if I would like that personally, but the special achievement will in fact show that I did have the items... I'm a bit torn because I also feel that, the items would just take up too much space over time in my inventory if they stayed.

I'd be willing to trade rarities for Nox Crystal (R4), Nightshade (R3) and Flowers (but not Mix flower).

I'm really torn about having to give up all the items. I have a lot of enchanted items that are part of complete sets, which means that I won't be able to give them to the NPC until I get doubles of those, and there's no guarantee the NPC won't take the enchanted item.

On the other hand, I currently have 4 complete sets (2 away from the Ultima set!) and the points WOULD give my rank a nice boost.

Would the collection badges be weighted? That is, since the Oot set has more than 6 times the items that the, uh, DoomGun set has, would it be worth more points?

I would strictly make it not take any enchanted items whatsoever. Speaking of which, the shop keeps should offer more cash for them no? The badges could be weighted yes, but I was thinking about making the gold rewards be the weighted element, which in fact is part of the ranking calculation anyways (your gold total, that is). Which ever, I guess.

Would you be willing to trade a Copy Flower and an Ice Flower for a Raft and a Cross from Zelda 2? I'd be glad to buy your hammer once I get enough coins as well, so leave that in the vendor house.

Gold as the weighted element is good. It didn't occur to me that it was used in the rankings.

I hardly ever sell things to the shopkeeper because the prices are too low. But I think enchanted items should definitely sell for lots higher, both because of their rarity and because selling to the shop removes them. I'm still not exactly pleased with having to give up the items, though. I'd be willing to forgo the gold payout to keep them in my inventory. But either way it falls will be fine.

Blackbird, I'd be willing to trade what you mentioned (Raft + Cross for Ice and Copy flowers), but I'd rather let drath have first dibs since he posted the topic.

Edit: I just found some Silver Gauntlets (R4).

Good! I'll trade a Melon, a Spiritual Armour, a Trampoline, an Ice Flower, a Copy Flower, a Blue Pepper, a Smash Egg (which is apparently R2 now...) and a Red Shell. That totals up to about 23 R's. I'd like the Hammer, everything from Zelda 1 (except the bow, which I realise I already have now, double-check first post) and the silver gauntlets.

I'll put them up on sale for 200, you put them up at 320 so it balances out.

Oh and, Scapegoat, please don't reserve the items for Jacq. I'm the one who needs them.
